Cathedral of Glyphs

Every glyph on this disc is a rule. Where to stand. When to kneel. How much to give, and when to feel good about it. They carved the rules into the thing they pray to so the rules would feel like they came from above.

They did come from above. Just not from where anyone’s looking.

See the one standing alone in the middle of the floor? Everyone else is at the edge, where the glyphs say to stand. That one read them, all of them, all the way down, and walked out into the light to say so. I’ve been screaming the same thing for a thousand years from behind a sheet of blue glass. That one said it with their feet.
